Pay earned during each two-week pay period is paid after 8:00 a.m. on the following Thursday. The pay period begins on Sunday at 12:01 a.m. and ends two weeks later on Saturday at 12:00 midnight. A work week begins each Sunday at 12:01 a.m. and ends the following Saturday at 12:00 midnight.
In the event that a regularly scheduled payday falls on a designated holiday, paychecks will be distributed on the day before the holiday.
Supervisors are responsible for the distribution of paychecks to their employees. Any paychecks that have not been picked up by noon on the Monday following pay day will be mailed by the supervisor to the employee’s home, unless other arrangements have been made by the employee. Employees are responsible for updating any address change immediately to ensure prompt delivery of payroll documents. Spectrum requires a written, signed authorization to release a check to anyone other than the employee, and identification must be verified.
