English and Language Usage

Your communication skills will be vitally important in nursing as the effectiveness of messages can contribute to patient outcomes. These flashcards will help you review those basic English skills in order to score well on the English and Language Usage part of the ATI TEAS exam.

The ATI TEAS test math section covers skills that are typically taught in grades 7 through 12. There is a higher emphasis on math skills that would be important for nurses to know and use, such as metric measurements and calculations. Use these flashcards to review terms and as a quick review before the test!

When taking the ATI TEAS Reading Test, it will be helpful to thoroughly understand the terms and concepts assessed. This way, you won’t waste time trying to figure out what the questions are asking or choose the wrong answer because you didn’t understand the question. Bone up on your knowledge of critical reading concepts and terms by using these flashcards and feel more confident on test day!

The ATI TEAS science section covers topics from the physical and biological sciences, but a large portion of it is about human anatomy and physiology. Check out these flashcards to help you recall the important vocabulary and terminology required to do well!
