Congruent figures are exactly the same size and shape. Similar figures are the same shape, but different sizes.
Explanation:
In congruent figures, the lengths of the sides and the angle measurements are the same in both figures. In similar figures, the angles are the same in the figures, but the sides are different lengths (but in the same ratio). The shape is the same but the size is different.
