Explanation:

When diabetes is suspected, a test of the client’s hemoglobin A1C (HgbA1C) will determine long-term control of the client’s glucose levels. A normal HgbA1C ranges between 4 and 5.6%. Levels greater than 6-7% can be indicative of poor glucose control due to diabetes.
