The determinant of this matrix is equal to:

\[1 \cdot (2 - 3) \;– 3 \cdot (4 - 9) +2 \cdot (2 - 3) = 12\]

Be sure to use the order of operations, or PEMDAS, in an equation such as this one. If you don’t, your answer will not be correct. PEMDAS stands for Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction
