Rational numbers are numbers that can be written as ratios or fractions of two integers.
Only some roots are rational.
These are rational numbers: \(\frac{1}{4}\), \(\frac{3}{4}\), \(\sqrt{25}\), \(0.25\), \(5\), and \(\sqrt[3]{27}\).
