Interior angles: c, d, e, f

Exterior angles: a, b, g, h

Opposite angles: a and d, c and b, e and h, f and g

Alternating interior angles: c and f; d and e

When a transversal line cuts through 2 parallel lines, these angles are created.
The angles formed in the “interior zone” between the 2 parallel lines are called interior angles.
The angles formed outside of the interior zone are called exterior angles.
Alternating interior angles are equal.
Alternating exterior angles are equal.
Opposite angles are equal.
The sum of consecutive interior angles is equal to 180 degrees.
