For an adult patient, the ratio for one-rescuer is the same as that for two-rescuer administration. For a child, the ratio should be 15:2 when two rescuers are working together. In general, one rescuer should be prepared to continue CPR at the appropriate ratio for 2 minutes or until relieved by a second rescuer.
