We cannot directly do fractional division. Instead, we take the fraction’s reciprocal and multiply it by the original number. For example:

If we wanted to divide \(5\) by the fraction \(\frac{2}{5}\), we would take the reciprocal of \(\frac{2}{5}\) and multiply it by \(5\).

Thus,

\[\frac{5}{\frac{2}{5}} = 5 \times \frac{5}{2}\]
