Insulin regulates blood glucose levels.
Explanation:
Insulin is produced in the pancreas. It is made in response to a rise in blood glucose levels, which usually occurs after eating. Insulin is a signal molecule that allows your cells to take in glucose to use immediately for energy, and it also signals the liver to store unused glucose for the future.
