explicit; implied (or implicit)

Explanation:

Explicit details or evidence is stated directly to the reader—“Her shirt was blue.” Implied (or implicit) details or evidence must be deduced by the reader— “Her shirt, the color of the sky on a warm summer day, matched her eyes beautifully.” This second sentence doesn’t say that her shirt is blue, but the reader can infer that fact from the way it is described.
