Sections of the CCAT
Math and Logic
The Math and Logic questions on the CCAT do not generally involve any long, drawn-out calculations or higher math skills. They do require basic numeration and algebra skills and speed. You can review the basic skills you’ll need in this study guide so you’ll be ready to use them quickly on the test.
Spatial Reasoning
The Spatial Reasoning questions on the CCAT may be unlike any you have seen before. They require the ability to “move things around in your head.” This study guide will give you an idea of the types of things you might see on the test, as well as some hints for finding the correct answer.
Verbal
The Verbal questions on the CCAT test your vocabulary and word usage abilities. There are no long reading passages—just quick questions about the appropriate word to use in a sentence or analogy and questions asking for the antonym (opposite) of a word. Check out information about these tasks and see some examples in this study guide.
Hopefully, our CCAT study guides have helped you develop a study plan for the CCAT and made you more aware of what you’ll actually see on the test. Please let us know how the studying and testing process went for you on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest, or write us an email at info@uniontestprep.com.
