analogy

An analogy is based on the relationship between two things. If you have a pair of words and must find the correct pair to create an analogy, the terms in the second pair must exhibit the same relationship as the terms in the first pair. They should be in the same order as well, so if the first term presents a unit of measurement and the thing it would measure, the second pair should do so in the same order.
