Standard and military time formats are the same from 1:00 (in the morning) to 12:59 (in the afternoon), except that standard time indicates *a.m.* for the morning and *p.m.* starting from 12 noon.   
Military time uses no other notation. Starting at 1:00 pm (standard time), add 12 to convert from standard to military. To convert military time (applicable for the time from 13:00 to 24:00), simply subtract 12 and you get the equivalent standard time.
