homozygous

Explanation:

A genotype is homozygous when both alleles for a specific gene are the same—either two dominant alleles (e.g., AA) or two recessive alleles (e.g., aa). In contrast, a heterozygous genotype has two different alleles (e.g., Aa), one from each parent. So, if both alleles are identical, the genotype is homozygous.
