Subtest III: Visual and Performing Arts

The Visual and Performing Arts questions on Subtest III of the CSET® Multiple Subjects Test range from testing your knowledge of appreciation factors to historical references. They cover the domains of dance, music, theatre, and the visual arts. Use this study guide to review what you know and find out what you need to practice.

California is in the process of revising the Visual and Performing Arts Framework. You can see the most current information (here](https://www.cde.ca.gov/be/st/ss/index.asp).

Subtest II: Mathematics

The mathematics questions on this test are not extremely high level since this is a general competency type of test and not one for math teachers. However, you may have to “dig” a bit to remember all of those little concepts covered in past math instruction. So, use this guide to find out what you need to know and be sure to consult additional resources for more help with difficult concepts.
