HELLP syndrome is a complication of preeclampsia that can occur in pregnant women. Women with this condition may experience the identified symptoms. They may additionally experience elevated blood pressure, proteinuria, abdominal, shoulder, or chest pain, and fetal complications related to this syndrome.
