aneurysm

Explanation:

Aneurysms can occur in any artery, but most commonly occur in the brain, heart, and descending aorta, and less commonly, in the heart. Aneurysms are often asymptomatic and carry a high mortality rate if ruptured. They have an increased risk of tear (dissection) and rupture due to the localized dilation and weakening of the vessel wall. The goal of therapy is to provide early diagnosis and intervention.
