Explanation:
Where possible, balance estimations by matching a rounding up with a rounding down.
For example, in estimating the result of 295 x 508, round up 295 to 300 and round down 508 to 500.
Multiplying 300 by 500 results in an estimated result of 150,000.
Take note that multiplying 295 by 508 will result in 149,860, which is actually quite close to 150,000.
