\(Amperes = \frac{Volts}{Ohms}\) or \(I = \frac{V}{R}\) where amperes is a measurement of the current (\(I\)), volts is a measure of the voltage (\(V\)), and ohms is the measurement of the resistance (\(R\)).
For example, if a \(6\) volt current travels through a \(12\) ohm resistor, what is the current strength? \(I = \frac{6}{12} = 0.5 \;amperes\)
