Explanation:

This is also equivalent to 0.25 [.]
It is helpful to know the common equivalencies for fractions, decimals, and percents. Some other equivalents are:

\[\frac{2}{4} = 0.5 = 50\%\] \[\frac{3}{4} = 0.75 = 75\%\] \[\frac{1}{3} = 0.33 = 33\%\] \[\frac{2}{3} = 0.67 = 67\%\]

Note that the decimals for \(\frac{1}{3}\) and \(\frac{2}{3}\) are repeating decimals. The decimal of 0.33 is actually 0.33333… and has been rounded down to 0.33. The decimal of 0.67 is actually 0.6666… and has been rounded up to 0.67[.] This is also true of the matching percents.
