Question 27 - Reading and Writing Practice Test for the PSAT/NMSQT Exam

The writer wants to add a sentence to help conclude the passage. Which option would be the most logical conclusion for the passage provided?

Entering into a contract is not something that should be done lightly because contracts are binding legal agreements for which you can later be held accountable. A business contract is an agreement between two or more parties that consent to certain things and oblige the parties to perform particular duties. In a contract, one party makes an offer, then the other party accepts that offer unequivocally and without modifications or qualifications (otherwise it’s considered a counteroffer), and mutual consideration is determined. This means that both sides gain something of value. For example, the car dealership offers to sell you a new car for $50,000. You accept that offer because you want a new car, and both sides get something out of the deal: you get a new car, and the dealership gets money.
