The two verb voices are active voice and passive voice.

In active voice the subject does the action, whereas in passive voice the subject receives the action.

An example of active voice: “I pressed the button.”
An example of passive voice: “The button was pressed by me.”
Remember: Active voice is almost always a better choice when writing.
