age 50

Explanation:

Regular screening for colorectal cancer should be done in every adult over the age of 50. Screening tests can include fecal occult blood testing (FOBT), sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, double-contrast barium enema (DCBE), and/or digital rectal exam (DRE). A positive family history of colon cancer will usually mean more aggressive screening exams beginning at an early age.
