Explanation:
Anti-Markovnikov additions and Markovnikov additions are different from one another in the order that the nucleophile and the hydrogen atom are added. In an anti-Markovnikov addition, the nucleophile attaches to the least substituted carbon, and the hydrogen attaches to the most substituted carbon.
