application, control, infrastructure
Explanation:
A software-defined network (SDN) is a three-layer design that separates layers by their functionality. The application layer is where common network device functionality resides, such as routers and switches. The control layer sits between the application and infrastructure layer and passes and translates communications between the two. The infrastructure layer is where the network hardware resides.
