hot site

A hot site is a complete working replica of a network that is fully up to date and ready for immediate full functionality. For comparison, a cold site is a physical site that is supplied with the minimum requirements for functionality, such as a power supply and internet service provider (ISP) connection. A warm site is a physical site that is supplied with minimal requirements for functionality in addition to a functioning network, which would require minimal intervention for full functionality.
