When preparing pastries, is it a safe practice to use reusable towels to wipe hands off after using hands to sprinkle brown sugar?

It depends on what other tasks are required. If you are going to continue handling food without gloves, you should wash your hands. Reusable towels can become contaminated.

I guess one would use the proper utensil to sprinkle sugar, if using your hands be sure to wash and dry before and after
and try to prevent cross contamination the best you can. I really don't know what i am talking about but at least I want to help.

Use a dry paper towel to dry your hands or just plain air dry and wave them in the air like you really do care. - Gonzalo Olvera May 10, 2018 22:11
