Question 18 - Analytical Writing Practice Test for the GMAT

When proofreading, what is the main error that should be corrected in this paragraph?

The author basically made the assumption that Plum Café only advertised on the radio. Without seeing any evidence, we really cannot assume that the café didn’t increase their marketing efforts in other avenues as well. Possibly, Plum Café may have increased their social media presence, or perhaps they took out an ad in the local paper. It appears that there are countless ways to advertise a business, and the author should not have assumed that Plum Café only used the radio.
