There are several different types of assumptions you’ll see on the GMAT. One assumption type will deliver evidence relevant to the conclusion (but not directly related). Another will demonstrate causal relationships between evidence and the conclusion, and still another will demonstrate direct relationships between evidence and the conclusion.
