Where to begin?

I am looking to obtain my A+ and Security + certifications but I am unsure where to begin. I am reviewing the study guides, flash cards and creating my own reference outline. I am wondering if there is a better starting point to begin this journey?

I think everyone should first go with A+ exam as it covers all the basic concepts for the other exams of CompTIA and also
of the IT field. And it is the initial step towards the IT career. Therefore, go for the A+ first then Network+ and then Security+.

I usually use Professor Messer on youtube listening to it in the background while im doing something else and i have it on a shuffle playlist so that way its in no particular order but i still get alot out of it. so it makes it easier.

I agree. There are a lot of materials available for free out there from video's with images and good descriptions to test prep like on this site. Professormesser on Youtube is quite good as a jumping in point.
